Savion Glover brought a string octet to Jacksonville for a reprise of “Classical Savion.” He will dance to Shostakovich, Mendelssohn, Bach, Vivaldi, and more. Pictured above is his instrument, a large traveling stage with many tiny microphones hidden inside that will amplify his steps.

Concert tonight in Georgia
We just had a full day of teaching, open rehearsal, and coaching with composer Martin Gendelman here at Georgia Southern. Concert at 7:30!
Summer 2016
I’m not on tour now, so here’s a picture of the Hudson River from Bard College, where I am playing a Puccini Festival through August. In addition to the great music, there is a lot of cycling, hiking, and swimming too.
